Artist
Takuma Ishikawa critically questions photography and video as media, discovering the possibility of camera to create an unique formative medium which fiction and non-fiction infiltrate into each other. The artist has been presented his photography and video works as filling the gaps between the systemized genre of arts as painting, photography and cinema. Recently, Ishikawa’ s practice is known as a series of video works which was created by editing pictures taken by the high-speed continuous shooting of the single-lens reflex camera.

Talion gallery was founded in Yanaka, Tokyo, in 2011 and currently relocated to Mejiro, Tokyo, Since 2014.We holds exhibitions based on a consistent direction that emphasizes on criticism towards the historical development of art, its boundary with cultural trends of the same age, and its connectivity with social change.
