Artist
LI RUOXI was born in Beijing, China in 1993, graduated from the Department of Printmaking, Central Academy of Fine Arts, China in 2016, went to Japan to study, and completed the graduate course in Printmaking, Tama Art University in 2020.
She mainly produces two series, "INSTANT" and "PLACES". "The Japanese translation of "INSTANT" is "instant" or "moment. This "instant" has nothing to do with the length of time, but rather the actual experience of the artist in his life, the important memory that he wants to record, and the things that made him think deeply, which he made in order to preserve them in the form of print works like an instant camera. The series "PLACES" is a series of works inspired by places that the artist liked to visit after coming to Japan or for other reasons that he wanted to write down.
