    The shipping cost of artworks is calculated considering the balance between safety and cost based on information such as (1) the destination address, (2) the weight/volume weight and the size of artwork,　(3) material of artwork.

    In the case of domestic shipping, it is necessary to make decisions such as if use a mixed loading truck going in the same direction or charter truck depending on the situation of the shipping company, so it takes 2 to 7 business days to provide accurate shipping cost.

    In the case of international shipping, it is necessary to get quotation from local shipping company, so it takes about 2-14 business days to provide the accurate shipping cost.

    Since the areas of specialty and price ranges vary depending on the shipping companies, we will select the most suitable shipping plan from several partner companies and provide accurate quotation.

    Dear Art always arranges insurance for shipment.

    First, when Dear Art receives an inquiry about the price of artwork, we will inform you of the artwork price together with estimated shipping cost.
    Please be noted that the estimated shipping cost at this time is general cost calculated based on destination, weight and size of the artwork, and may differ from actual shipping cost.

    After being informed of the price of the artwork and the rough cost of shipping, you can decide whether to purchase the artwork. After the intention of purchase is indicated, Dear Art will ask for accurate quotation from shipping company.

    Dear Art will inform you of the accurate shipping quotation and guide you about payment after getting final approval.
  • ④
    Additional charges will apply if special work (framing, unpacking, disposal of packing material, etc.) is needed according to your requirements.
  • ⑤
    Shipment will be made within a maximum of 14 business days from the completion of the payment procedure by the customer.
    However, if more time is needed for framing or packing work when required, Dear Art will contact you in advance.

  • Having a mat in between your artwork and frame will help to highlight the artwork by filling in the margins while also improving its preservability. 
    Since the size of mat is adjustable, you can use the standard-size frames.
